Saint Paul Methodist Women (SPMW)

The mission of SPMW is to empower and encourage women in local churches to do transformative ministries, to embody Scriptural holiness and to experience the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Mission Statement:

To empower and encourage women in local churches to do transformative ministries, to embody Scriptural holiness and to experience the presence of the Holy Spirit.

General meeting for the membership is held at 9:30AM in the parlor the first Wednesday of the month January to May and September to December. In July we host a summer luncheon.

Members select a circle for monthly small group meetings and fellowship. Meeting dates and times vary with location and time. There is also a Reading Circle which meets the fourth Tuesday of the month at 12:30 to discuss a book each month. Book selections are based on expanding spiritual growth and building community.

As Saint Paul Methodist Women we establish budgeted missions to support. In addition, we vote at the end of the year to distribute remaining funds to local missions with additional needs.

Based on the various programs that are presented at our monthly general meetings we encounter other missions in our community to potentially support with the unit funds or that offer an opportunity for hands on service projects individual circle groups can undertake.

For more information about SPMW please contact the unit president, Tadhi Hayes.
